The Pennsylvania Poetry Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit literary organization. Our mission is to secure fuller recognition for poetry, to foster a better appreciation of it, and to assist American poets in their craft.

Founded October 21, 1949, we celebrate 75 years in 2024. An organization of poets and aspiring poets, our members are involved in poetry at the local, state, national, and international levels.
