HOWELL COUNTY BARDS (West Plains, Missouri)

MEMBERS: As of August 1, 2011, there were 12 members in this society.

MEETING DATES, TIME, AND PLACE: Meetings are held at 2:00 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month in the conference room of the West Plains Public Library.

OFFICERS: Current officers are Dale Ernst, president and state society representative; Miriam Johnson, vice-president; Michelle Foster, secretary; and Elizabeth Hykes, treasurer.

PROGRAMS: Through monthly meetings, our members gain a greater understanding and appreciation of poetry. We encourage the enjoyment of poetry for all members as well as our community. Members are inspired to strive for growth in their own writing using positive feedback and gentle critique
