"Line-Dancing with Eleven Silly Bulls" submitted by Ann Gasser:

This is a very disciplined syllabic form "two one , two one" starting with a word of two syllables followed by a word of one syllable. There are a total of 11 syllables per line:
two, one, two, one, two, one, two.

I don't see a need for a line limit-- write until you have said what you want to say or until you get tired. It is not as easy as you might think, and requires some thought to make any kind of sense. There is no rhyme. Here is my example:

AFTER THE BALL by Ann Gasser © All Rights Reserved.

Across the silent room beside the window
Cindy sits alone, her busy mind dreaming.
Shadowed light filters in between cracked shutters,
patterns of color are spattered on curtains.
Wonder and delight dance tiptoe through darkness,
ascend the stairway she's sparkled with stardust,
reflect pale moonbeams of lovers' sweet longing
until the cuckoo bird's wailing. She's startled!
Away fly visions of charming Prince Handsome,
leaving gray rodents, a pumpkin and cinders.
Wispy hopes linger, she surely will triumph.
Daylight brings sunlight, her slipper's glass shining!
