CHALLENGE #1:
Using the columns below, choose the first line of your poem from the "OPENING LINE" column. Then choose your poem's subject from the "THEME" column. With five in each column, there are 25 possible combinations. Limit the poem to 20 lines.

CHALLENGE #2:
Choose two phrases from the "OPENING LINE" column. Make one the opening line, make the other the closing line. As in the first challenge, choose a theme and limit the poem to 20 lines. |
