Purpose

Our purpose here at the Pennslyvania Poetry Society is to secure fuller recognition for poetry, to foster a better appreciation of it and to assist Pennsylvania poets in their craft.

Meetings

We have two annual meetings a year: the Fall Luncheon and the Spring Awards Luncheon. The times and places are announced in the PENNS to PAPER newsletter.

Membership Benefits

Upon becoming a member, you will receive the Penns to Paper newsletter and STROPHIES four times a year as well as Prize Poems and Pegasus annually. Your contest wins and new books will be announced in Penns to Paper. You may enter PPS and NFSPS contests at reduced entry fees. You will be able to attend all luncheon workshops at no cost and will be eligible for the members' free critiquing service. You will also delight in the camaraderie of creative, enthusiastic fellow poets.
